Welsh and English rugby players during a match

Keep the Six Nations free to air

Back the Welsh Lib Dem campaign to keep our rugby on free TV

With the nation's favourite rugby tournament once again under threat of disappearing behind a paywall, the Welsh Lib Dems are leading the fight to keep the Six Nations on free TV.

Making it harder to watch international rugby could have a massive impact on interest in our national sport. A commercial deal could also mean matches are no longer broadcast with Welsh language commentary.

Lib Dems already helped win this fight a decade ago, with over 5,000 joining our campaign in 2015 against the threat of a paywall. Now we're fighting to categorise the men's and women's championships in law among the crown jewels of sport like the Olympics and the FA Cup final, to protect free-to-air coverage for generations to come.

Will you join our campaign to keep the Six Nations on free to air TV?
