Our conferences are where key decisions are made and the future of our party in Wales is shaped. Every member has an equal right to attend, speak, and vote—ensuring every voice is heard.
We hold two conferences each year: one in Spring and one in Autumn. Read on to learn more about our upcoming events and highlights from recent conferences.

Spring Conference 2025
Conference Review
For our 2025 Welsh Spring Conference, members from across Wales gathered at the Holiday Inn, Cardiff City Centre, from 4th to 6th April.
A wide range of organisations and businesses joined us to exhibit, host fringe meetings, and engage with party members throughout the weekend.
Autumn Conference 2025
Wrexham: 10th - 12th October 2025
Registration and bookings for commercial opportunities will open over the summer.
What to Expect at the Conference:
- Lively debates tackling the most pressing political issues of the day.
- Live Q&As with key Senedd candidates and influential party figures.
- Fringe sessions featuring expert guest speakers across a wide range of topics.
- Exhibition with organisations from the commercial, charity and public sectors.
- Networking opportunities to connect with fellow members—old friends and new.
- Inspiring speeches from our Party’s leadership.
- Top-tier campaign training to help you gear up for the Senedd election.
Provisional Timings:
The full provisional agenda will be published in early September.
Friday 10th October:
- 19:00 - Late: Welcome Event — with opportunities to meet our Senedd candidates and catch-up with party members from across Wales.
Saturday 11th October:
- 10:00 - 17:00: The Conference — a chance to debate the issues and attend fringes, training and the exhibition.
- 19:00 - Late: Conference Dinner — the conference's key social event.
Sunday 12th October:
- 10:30 - 15:00: The Conference — more debates, including the party's AGM.
Motions Deadline:
Midday on Wednesday 3rd September 2025.
Motions may be submitted by:
- Local Parties.
- The Welsh Party Board or Welsh Party Committees.
- 10 members of the Welsh Liberal Democrats.
