Welsh Corridor Care Report – It's Time to Fix Social Care in Wales

Responding to the Royal College of Emergency Medicine, comments on corridor care in Wales, Welsh Liberal Democrat Leader Jane Dodds MS said:
“If we are to end corridor care in Welsh hospitals, we need to see the Welsh Labour Government prioritise solving the crisis in social care.
“I was proud to secure an extra £30 million from the Welsh Government to tackle delayed discharges from our hospitals, but we now need to see that implemented and built upon further.
“The Liberal Democrats remain concerned that Labour continues to push wider social care reforms into the long grass and will continue to push for real change to the system.”
