Message to members announcing the Selection

Dear member,

You will probably be aware that we recently commenced the process for selecting Senedd candidates for the newly formed constituency of Gwynedd Maldwyn which is made up of the two Westminster constituencies of Montgomeryshire and Glyndwr, and Dwyfor Merionnydd.

The Senedd election will be a party list election for the first time and will be run under the D'Hondt system, similar to the old Senedd Regional list system. We are delighted to now be able to present three excellent candidates for you, our members, to decide the order of candidates on the Welsh Liberal Democrat list for the new constituency at the Senedd elections in 2026 and our selection voting will be by Single Transferable Vote.
